Construction
Unlike its predecessor, the Jordan Fly Wade 2 has a revolutionary Hyperfuse construction: three different layers of material fused together to create a nearly seamless one-piece upper. The result is zones of ventilation, durability and stability, right where you need them.
Cushioning
Dwyane Wade requires exceptional comfort during competition, so his signature shoe boasts full-length, basketball-specific Lunarlon cushioning in the midsole for an ultra-plush and responsive ride. Phylon foam in the heel works with the Lunarlon midsole to create additional impact cushioning and support, and a molded OrthoLite ® sockliner provides an outstanding step-in feel and long-lasting comfort.
Support
This basketball shoe has four layers of material along the back, near the heel, adding structure and support while you're defending or attacking the h>oop. And during sharp, sudden cuts, a special stability feature--called an outrigger--provides lateral support and stability.
Fit
For a locked-down fit in the heel, the cushioned collar of the Jordan Fly Wade 2 has an internal heel pad shaped like the foot for comfort and reduced slippage. A full inner sleeve and a mesh tongue provide ventilation and a snug, comfortable fit around the foot.
